That bike is to big for her plain and simple.That is not to say she cannot eventually ride that tank but it's still not a good idea.Even alot of men struggle with large bikes.I have and I have been riding bikes for decades.Park that on a incline and need to backup she done.

Well that's why she's at a riding course. Stopping with your front wheel not straight, and given the weight of this bike will cause it to lean naturally. I also want to say I don't think it was in neutral which seem to give a sudden jerk( might be wrong but just what I'm seeing) played as well with the situation. Honestly we go to the courses to learn these skills. If you're on a bagger like that which weighs over 800 pounds without you on it, you honestly should go through these intermediate & Advanced courses. But for her, I feel a 1200 sportster, or even a soft tail street bob, something lighter with low center of gravity might be better for a beginner bike. If you can't ride a bagger like a soft tail at low speeds or ride it like a sportster then you need something more beginner friendly until you get the basics down. Granted some of us are faster learners then others, but the weight of this bike is a lot of bike to learn on imo. In the cruiser world it's imo not always about torque and hp it's also knowing how to handle a real heavy bike and keep that thing up . Nice bike though
